Security company MessageLabs said that Storm botnet is responsible for 20% of spam email sent in first 3 months of 2008.

This Trojan first appeared about a year ago and was last reported 2 days ago. It’s name comes from one spam-campaign in which the primal subject was “extreme weather in Europe”.

This botnet send almost always “offers” with “penis enlargement drugs” and “sexually explicit material”.

It seems that lately, Storm’s preferences go to emails containing malware and phising attacks, so this makes it even more dangerous that it was.
