I'm confused with http and https?
You should not have to confuse for this as, HTTP is a protocol that is use for transmitting and receiving information across web, as HTTP is used for accessing HTML pages.
On the other side, clients may want to exchange confidential information with server which needs to be secured to prevent unauthorized access. It is developed by Netspace.
HTTPS uses encryption certificates issued by Verisign and the like. All data transferred over an HTTPS connection is encrypted before transmission and then decrypted by the reciever using the certificate issued.
You can also go through this wikipedia page which talks about http & https : http : // en. wikipedia . org/ wiki / HTTP_Secure
Right, https is the SSL Secured version of http. Very useful for ecommerce sites to increase the trust.
Separate names with a comma.
