Since it is so popular, with millions of registered members, Facebook is one of phishers' favorite targets so, even if the social network implements all kinds of security measures, there's not much to do unless users care about their own security.

Ryan McGeehan of Facebook came out to give some advices to all the users who want to remain on the safe side of web surfing without too much effort. Among the mentioned tips, the Facebook official gave the name of two recommended browsers which had already implemented anti-phishing filters: Firefox and Internet Explorer7.

The browsers which provide anti-phishing utilities are very popular these days, especially after PayPal announced that some browsers may be blocked from accessing the service. It was rumored that Apple's Safari may be banned by PayPal because it doesn't currently provide anti-phishing solutions, nothing for sure yet.

One thing is sure: Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 have always been two of the most recommended browsers thanks to the well-developed functions they have to offer.
