There are 10 simple steps to gain new customers: 1. Offer discounts for referrals. Let your potential customer know that if they refer a friend or family member you will give them a discount off any purchase they make. 2. Run a contest in which you could give away a free product or service that you offer. Contests attract new customers. 3. Participate in forums related to the sales and services you offer. Give advices and answer questions. It’s a wise move. 4. Write and distribute a brochure related to the products and services you offer. 5. Write and submit articles to article directories. At the end of each article add the link to your website. 6. Many businesses have started blogs related to the products and services they offer, so it could be a nice move to start a blog. Keep it updated by adding new posts at least weakly. 7. Learn all you can about the products you sell in case clients have question. Try to use your product and discover what you like and what you don’t like about it. Knowing all about what you sell can make you convince easily people to buy that product or service. 8. Give contact informations. Make sure you have posted clearly on your website your phone number, fax number, name, the name of your company and your address on your website. 9. For example, I saw on a website a preety cool thing: every day, for an hour/day a product choosed randomly it’s selling with a 10% discount if you make an order in that hour. It makes you buy it. 10. When a client emails you, don't keep him waiting. If you are to busy or swamped with emails, assign a person to answer all inquires in time. Best is to answer in about 48 hours to a client question.
