It was reported that Microsoft is still interested in buying Yahoo if it has a new board. Since Microsoft's interest in Yahoo cooled, Yahoo's share prices went below $20 mark. With the renewed interest by Microsoft, Yahoo's share prices went up by 12% to £23.

Microsoft will only negotiate if Yahoo has a new board. One of Yahoo shareholder Carl Icahn is trying to oust Yahoo's board, including chief executive Jerry Yang.

If Microsoft waits a year they will be able to buy Yahoo for less than $5.00 per share. With the way the font office in yahoo runs the company.

Microsoft, meanwhile, has told Yahoo shareholders (through the WSJ) that it would be happy to buy Yahoo but that those crazy founders are still holding out for a ludicrous $37 (translation: We're the reasonable ones here; If you want to help get a deal done, call crackpot Yang and tell him to get real):”

Yahoo runs their company like a bunch of “drunk monkeys”
