Business owners and webmasters can't afford to ignore social media anymore.

Back in 2012 some researchers found out that about 71% of prospective customers referred from social media sites were likely to buy a product or service being promoted.

This year, Facebook surpassed Google as top referrer for Digital Publishers. Now if your conversions were 71% . . .

Investing some money in social media marketing could, therefore, be wise because it can be profitable eventually. If you can afford to outsource your social media marketing would it be better to hire an agency/company or one freelancer?

This is depending on the volume and branding of your company. If you are top brand in your area then this is better to hire agency on the other hand if you are running small business then you should hire freelancer.
