Hello everyone I just came back and it's really good to be back
and I will stay for good:thumbsup:, hope the moderator won't get mad at me
for being away for almost (I don't know how many months ).

Anyway I just like to ask something I was working for a certain site, it was
a japanese used car site. I was having a trouble with the url I wanted
it to be change, but I don't know how to change it and I'm also thinking of
what will be the outcome if I change it.. I made some research and I
haven't found the answer I'm looking for. :(

I was working for this certain site for almost 2 months and I made
11 keywords ranked out of 15, but when June came there are
only 6 keywords appearing.. I was thinking that maybe the reason
behind this was the google update. But I know SEO certain rules
about the url, and I think that this has something to do with the
    low traffic and keyword's fluctuation.

Can anyone help me on how can I change the url? And which
domain should I use? .com or .co.jp? The link is in my signature.
Hoping for a good response from everyone..:kneeled:

You should make sure to 301 redirect all your old pages, to their new location. This way you don't lose pagerank, or placement in the serps.

It might take some time, for google to update its index, and pass on the pagerank from the old urls. Backlinks pointing twords the old urls, will still pass pagerank this way.
