    How can I add a short video from my digital camera to my website? Any software to use? Any suggestion?

    Download the video from your camera onto your machine. It will probably create an avi file. Firewire connections (IEEE1394) is faster than USB.

    You can then simply upload the avi file using FTP and provide a link for people to use on a web page to download it.

    If you want to display the avi clip as flash video on the page you will need to convert it to flash first. There are various free and demo tools to do this available on the web. Just search for "avi to flash converter".

    Then add the flash clip like this:

    width="300" height="175" hspace="10" vspace="10" align="right">
    <param name="movie" value="example.swf" />

    Change the size properties to whatever you like. The hspace and vspace settings define how much space is around the flash image.

    The above code is xhtml 1.0 transistional W3C compliant.
