Vitamin D 'may help ward off TB'

    A dose of vitamin D may help ward off tuberculosis, research suggests. A study of 131 people found the vitamin helped to boost the ability of the body to inhibit the growth of bacteria that causes the respiratory disease.

    And do you know where do you get vitamin D from?

    No, not pills, the natural way your body makes vitamin D(3) is while you expose your skin to sunlight (UV B radiation) :D

    Agree Piotrek but need to rub plenty of sun cream.

    How does one know how much sunlight they need before they get sun burn?

    You don't have to go sun bathing, just go out on a sunny day, have a walk, smile to the Sun. And while on the beach the lack of common sense and exaggeration are the main reasons people get burned, I think...
