I have Apache/PHP servers installed on my local PC, which I
duel boot between Windows XP and Linux Ubuntu. I run my sites
on it so I can do my modifications and view them on the local
web server. Once I feel a change is good enough, I simply FTP
those changes to the web host on the internet. This way, I
eliminate any downtime if I break something!

How do you all do your changes and website testing?

since i'm lazy... i hate changing for 1 OS to other *dual boot.

in Windows ... i use XAMPP where i can test my websites locally and if its stable and good for production i'll just upload all the files and db on the website.
