Here were the top thoughts just ten years ago. It's a fad. It isn't secure. It's too complicated. Today, even the most experienced of you may not know when we are actually using the cloud. Our emails, our social media, even our online file storage, all have been cloud based for many years. It isn't a fad anymore, it is a solid component of our daily lives and it isn't going away. As with most new adopters, security is among the biggest of concerns. This was always mine. Most of have believed that our local computers were safer and easier to protect than any cloud based server. These cloud based devices and softwares may be susceptible to the same intrusions as our local machines, the truth is they have teams that monitor everything by the second not just automatically, but additionally with personnel. As for the complexities of the cloud, there is no doubt that it is an advanced and comprehensive system. However, for the user, it actually makes things less complicated inasmuch as having access to software and private accounts. As well, services and such in the cloud are infinitely easier to scale up or down. How well informed are you about where the cloud is in your life?
