I know what the popular definition of it is---"forgiveness of your sins so`s ya get`s ta go ta Heaven" or something. But I'm sorta confused by the chaos in between 'sinful life' & 'Heaven.' This Christianity.com article says, "We are saved because we're NOT perfect," but doesn't the Bible command, "Be ye perfect even as Our Father in Heaven is perfect." Is the article saying that God's NOT perfect, or--assuming that He IS perfect--that He is NOT saved? If He's not, why should we be?
