I have been using Worldpay for 4 years now (I sell software for vegetable growers ans poultry keepers) and so far I have found them pretty good - the transaction processing is very reliable and its easy to do refunds, etc. I am in the process of setting up a new site to sell vegetable seedlings online. When I asked Worldpay to set up a new 'installation' (their word for a separate website payment system under the same account) they told me I have to open a new account as vegetable seedlings are under a different 'code' than computer software. Previously I have not met this problem - Worldpay opened other installations on the same account with no further questions asked. This is suggesting that the likes of Amazon would have to have a separate account for every different type of goods they sell - this makes no sense at all. As each account costs £160 per year this seems like just another excuse to screw money out of businesses. Has anyone else had this problem?
