Every new vendor starts over.
We don’t.

Each engagement adds to a working view of your business: the stack, the history, what changed, what failed and why. The next request starts with context instead of another discovery call.

How it works

Less ceremony.
More forward motion.

Every engagement follows the same operating discipline, whether the work takes two hours or becomes a larger initiative.

  3. 03

    Find the cause

We trace the stack instead of treating the loudest symptom.

    Approve the scope

We explain the recommendation, estimate and tradeoffs so you can authorize the next move.

  5. 05

    Fix and verify

  6. 06

    See what changed

Before you open a fix file

Questions worth answering clearly.

If the answer depends on your stack, we will say so. The goal is to make the first decision easier, not hide complexity behind a sales call.

What can WebsiteFix actually fix?

Website and storefront problems, checkout and payment issues, performance, technical SEO, analytics, CRM and automation, reporting, integrations and the connective tissue between them. If the issue crosses systems, that is usually where we are most useful.

Can you fix our current website without rebuilding it?

Often, yes. We first investigate what is failing and what still works. If a focused repair can solve the problem, we will recommend that. If the current system cannot meet the requirement reliably, we will explain why and scope the larger change with you.

How does pricing work?

The First Fix is $129 for one hour of senior work for a first-time client. Prepaid blocks are 5 hours for $825, 10 for $1,550, 25 for $3,500 or 50 for $6,500. Unused block hours do not expire. We log subsequent work in 15-minute increments and confirm scope before work expands. Care starts at $445 per month; larger builds are quoted separately.

What if the first hour does not solve it?

You still receive the diagnosis and a recommended next step. We explain the likely scope and ask for approval before spending more time. The First Fix buys real investigative work, so it is not a guarantee that every problem can be solved in one hour.

What happens after I send a request?

We review the issue and its urgency, identify the access needed to investigate and explain the next step. If the problem needs more work than a focused repair, you see a proposed scope and estimate before authorizing it.

Can you work with our existing team or vendors?

Yes. WebsiteFix can lead the diagnosis, own a specific workstream or support an internal team, agency or software vendor. The important part is making ownership and decision-making explicit.

Which platforms do you support?

Common work includes WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, HubSpot, GA4, Klaviyo, Acumatica and custom systems. Platform familiarity matters, but the real work is understanding how your particular implementation behaves.

What if the issue is urgent?

Tell us the business impact and timing in the first message. We will confirm availability, the safest immediate move and whether the issue needs containment before a deeper repair.

How do you handle access and security?

Access is limited to what the work requires and should use your existing secure tools whenever possible. Changes are documented and verified so control stays with your business.

Do we need a polished technical brief?

No. A useful first message explains what changed, what you expected, what happened instead and how it affects the business. WebsiteFix handles the technical framing from there.

Where do you work?

WebsiteFix is based in Holmdel, New Jersey and serves businesses nationwide through a remote-first operating model.

Insights and useful checklists

A clearer first step starts here.

When a site fails, a few careful notes can make the first conversation more useful. These short guides help you capture the right details without making risky changes to a live site.

Repair guide

An update broke the site

Before changing anything else, write down the affected URLs, the exact error, when it began and which update ran. Preserve a current backup and note whether checkout or lead forms are affected.

  1. Capture the visible symptom and timing.
  2. Identify the last known working version.
  3. Plan a safe rollback or staging test before another production change.
Commerce checklist

Checkout stopped working

Record the step where shoppers stop, the browser and device, payment method and any recent theme, app or gateway change. Do not repeat a live payment without checking whether an order or charge was already created.

  1. Check whether the failure affects one path or every shopper.
  2. Save error messages and timestamps.
  3. Test the full buying path after the repair.
Maintenance checklist

Keep the next failure smaller

A care plan should name the owner of backups and monitoring, the release process and the person who responds when a critical path fails. Test forms and checkout after meaningful changes.

  1. Confirm a usable restore path.
  2. Agree what gets checked and when.
  3. Document changes and unresolved risks.
